User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 I can mark them Read, but when I open the mail program agian, they are listed as unread. This has been happening WITH A crash. If I try to point to bmoore...Account the line ABOVE inbox, my mozilla crashes, not just the mail program but my browser too. This is true for each of my pop accounts, I cannot click on the heading above Inbox, it will cause a crash, now I can click on the arrow to the left and this will not cause a crash. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make it crash by clicking on the mail heading listed above 2. Reset with ctl-alt-del choose mozilla and shut down. 3. Re-open (even after complete reboot) 4. Last 23 messsages will be marked Unread Actual Results: Crash and last 23 messages marked unread. Expected Results: Not Crash, and not mark messages unread. I do not know about the theme interaction, but will check that out.. you can email me at bmoore3@att.net if you have further questions.
were these messages imported with an earlier version of netscape/mozilla? They probably don't have a Mozilla-status header, which is where we store the read state for messages when we need to recreate the INBOX.msf (there was a bug that importing didn't add that line) - for some reason, your INBOX.msf file is left in an invalid state when you crash by clicking on the account. So you're hitting two problems - you could go in by hand an add x-mozilla-status lines to those messages (you can look at other messages to see how that line should look). As far as the crash is concerned, have you submitted talkback reports? You might try deleting XUL.mfl from your user profile directory - it can get corrupt and cause all sorts of weird problems in mail and the browser.
