User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de-AT; rv:1.2) Gecko/20021202
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de-AT; rv:1.2) Gecko/20021202

Using the commandline option -remote, you can start the Mozilla Browser, Mail,
or Chat, but not the Composer (Editor). I think it would be practical to add an
option to open a URL in a new Mozilla Composer instance via the -remote option.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
==> X-remote
Assignee: composer → blizzard
Component: Editor: Composer → X-remote
QA Contact: sujay → blizzard

I suspect this is a dupe of 215570
In old netscape you did
 netscape -remote "Edit(URL)"
so why not reuse that?
Just
 netscape -remote "Edit()"
opened an empty composer window.
I'm looking at old "good first bugs" not touched for a while.
Andrew, do you think this is still relevant?
