Preconditions:

  • ETP set to STRICT
  • Clean profile

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to: https://www.facebook.com
  2. Perform account login
  3. Access https://www.facebook.com/gaming/play/1473244006907246/?source=www_homepage_shortcut and observe

Expected Behavior:
The game finishes loading and can be started

Actual Behavior:
The game is stuck in a loading state

Notes:

  • Not reproducible with ETP STANDARD/turned OFF (both Normal and Private Browsing)
  • Reproducible on the latest Nightly

This is fixed by the etp exception https://etp-exceptions.mozilla.org/?bug_id=1912706 and Bug 2021284.
