Prerequisites:

Found in Nightly 133.0a1 (2024-10-19)(64-bit)

STR:

  1. Turn on NVDA
  2. Open about:welcome from the URL bar
  3. Navigate to the blue 'Save and continue' button and press enter
  4. Move screenreader focus to the collapsed menu under 'Import Browser Data'. Observe screenreader output

Expected:

When screenreader focus lands on the collapsed menu, it should say 'collapsed' along with the accessible name and role

Actual:

NVDA mentions the accessible name and role but never says 'collapsed'. Note that after expanding and collapsing the menu, NVDA then begins to say 'collapsed'

Recording:

Recording of screenreader with collapsed menu

When reviewing the attachment/recording, the link is under the 'Recording:' heading. The attachment towards the top of the page can be ignored (my file was too big and a message appeared in Bugzilla saying to upload and provide a link)
