Steps to reproduce:

  1. Added my Google Calendar and other calendars to Thunderbird on Windows 11.
  2. Tried to synchronize events and modify them.
  3. Attempted to copy an event from one date and paste it on another.

Actual results:

  • My calendars show a triangular warning icon with an exclamation point, saying the calendars are temporarily unavailable.
  • The events seem to sync only partially, but they do appear eventually.
  • When trying to copy an event from one day and paste it into another, the "Paste" option appears but doesn't work—nothing gets pasted.

Expected results:

The calendars should sync smoothly without any error messages.
Copy-pasting an event should allow the event to be duplicated to another day without issues.

Sounds like there may have been network issues (or similar).
Copy paste works in general, but if the calendar was unavailable, then it could not work properly.
I don't think we have enough info to address anything here, other than general improvements that would happen elsewhere.
