This has been broken since 1/16 at least. Updated to mozilla 1.3b builds (2003021008) last night and it's still broken. When I am reading mail and I see I have new mail in a folder, I click on that folder and the subject pane shows the same view as the last time I was in that folder. I expect it to move to show me the subject/sender/date line of the most recently received new message as it used to do so I don't have to scroll up and down to find it. Shiva has noticed the same thing. CCing him here.
