User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210 Double clicking on an html file to open the browser can cause a weird effect. If done fast enought the first window will not have a url in the url bar but the second window will. Even if you go to a site from the bookmarks, the first window will not display the url bar. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create an html file on the desktop 2. double click on the file to open the mozilla browser. 3. double click on the file again to open the mozilla browser (this must be done before the browser is loaded from step 2) 4. you will notice that one browser will have the url bar set and the other will not. Actual Results: one browser will have the url bar set and the other will not. Expected Results: both browsers should have the url bar set. Here are some of my preferences that may have affected the launch. Quick launch is off. Home page is a blank page.
Reporter: Can you reproduce this bug with a recent build of Mozilla (for example, 1.4rc3)? If so, then please comment again with details. If not, then please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks.
I tested it with version 1.4 final release and the bug seems to have disapeared. I can no longer reproduce.
