Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Get mail (e.g. by pressing CTRL+T). Actual Results: The status bar quickly changes between "Sending request to <servername>..." and "Transferring data to <servername>", Expected Results: After the server has been contacted: 1. Receiving Mail x of y ... 2. Received y Mails.
i think this is part of the many other "out of synch" status messages in bug 190044

I've seen the same behavior in both the nightlies leading up to 1.3b and 1.3b itself. Perhaps this bug should be addressed by addressing bug 61139? Here's the about line: Mozilla 1.3b Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210

I'm also seeing this bug for quite some time now on Windows builds and I miss something like "Downloding message x of y" a lot. And I agree that progressbar should be scaled according to size of messages to download. Currently using build 2003021208 on Windows XP.
