User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210 In version 1.1 it saved correctly the source or actual data downloaded. In 1.2 it would give the log in page instead. In 1.3 Excel opens file as html instead of data. Mozilla seems to be converting file to html instead of actual unchanged raw data file. I used to be able to save pages as tab delimited files and now it seems to be changing that format to some sort of html output so Excel has trouble interpreting. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download tab delimited files as html and attempt to save it. 2. Save the souce and not the text 3. Open in Excel Actual Results: I get an html version in Excel, not the tab delimited. Expected Results: Save the tab delimited format so Excel can open it as a worksheet.
Robert, can you make a test case ? e.g.: provide an URL or attach a file
