Environment:
Operating system: Windows 11
Firefox version: Firefox 132.0.1 (release)

Preconditions:

  • ETP set to STRICT
  • Clean profile

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to: https://www.wsj.com/politics/elections/republicans-poised-to-keep-control-of-house-after-winning-senate-34fda68e?mod=WTRN_pos5&cx_testId=3&cx_testVariant=cx_168&cx_artPos=4
  2. Observe

Expected Behavior:
The cookie policy is displayed

Actual Behavior:
The cookie policy is not displayed

Notes:

  • Not reproducible with ETP STANDARD/turned OFF (both Normal and Private Browsing)
  • Reproducible on the latest Nightly

Created from webcompat-user-report:e2caa3c2-9a7b-4d0d-8e97-cfdfaf57455e

privacy-mgmt.com and its forms are on Disconnect's list of trackers we use for ETP strict, so they are blocked.

This is expected behavior, leaving open due to high severity.

Severity: -- → S2
No longer depends on: tp-breakage
Priority: -- → P3

Unblocking sdk.privacy-center.org, classified as analytics unbreaks this. Note, that the website loads just fine. Also reproducible in private browsing mode to me.

No longer blocks: tp-breakage
