Steps to reproduce:

When using a webpage that contains a canvas (in this case, look at the xhs.xenial.com page; it is just an internal Kibana page) I modified the search query and hit update so the canvas chart gets updated.

Actual results:

The canvas will sometimes show an old cached rendering.

Expected results:

The canvas shows the correct new rendering.
