The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::DOM: Notifications' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
Hello, thanks for reporting!
Can you check whether the notification permission is enabled in both macOS app settings and in the site settings? And if yes, whether you see any Push Endpoint (that is not "null") under "Origin: https://instagram.com" (and https://www.youtube.com) when you open about:serviceworkers
from the address bar?
Hello, for instagram I can only find "Origin: https://www.instagram.com^userContextId=6" and for that there is a Push Endpoint. For youtube there is also a Push Endpoint.
Thanks. If you open https://www.bennish.net/web-notifications.html, click authorize and show, do you see any notification?
Could you double check whether Firefox has notification permission in macOS system settings? Could you share screenshot?
(and does the bennish page say any error related message?)

Turns out this is not a bug in Firefox. My computer had a security update that I didn't realize until now was available to install. After Installing the update, I'm receiving notifications again.
Thank you for reporting back! Congrats for having it work again 👍
