Quick update: Verified this is still occurring. I started a draft PR (https://github.com/mozilla/glean.js/pull/2027) and have pinged the Glean team for assistance/review.

PR is merged, going to mark this as fixed now. If it persists then we can revisit and figure out what else is missing.
