Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:132.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/132.0
Steps to reproduce:
Visit website with "English (US)" in
Language
Choose the languages used to display menus, messages, and notifications from Firefox.
and "German (Germany) [de-de]" in
Choose your preferred language for displaying pages
E.g. https://www.energy-charts.info/
Actual results:
With these settings numbers on the website are shown with "," as thousands separator and "." as decimal separator, whereas, if the configured German settings would be used it should be "." as thousands separator and "," as decimal separator.
Thus it seems that the number format settings for web pages are drawn from the language settings for Firefox instead of the settings for web pages.
Expected results:
Firefox should use the language chosen for web pages when displaying web pages.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
