Steps to reproduce
- Ensure a screen reader is running
- On any page, open a Menu > Bookmarks
- Navigate to and activate a folder list
- Using a logical navigation gestures (swiping left-to-right with one finger), review the list of folders with a TalkBack and observe the TalkBack's announcement for the list elements.
Expected behavior
TalkBack would announce that it is entered a list and the size of the list and the current position of the item within the set, i.e. {item text}, 1 of {N}, In list
for the first item in the list of total N items and each other item would be announced with the list position information, i.e. {item text}, 2 of {N}
etc.
Actual behavior
TalkBack announces only that it is entered a list, i.e. {item text}, In list
. Users won't know how long is the list and where in the list are they reviewing an item, which would be especially important for longer lists.
