Steps to reproduce

  1. Enable the menu redesign
  2. Open the menu a few times
  3. Observe the menu items

Expected behavior

No flickering.

Actual behavior

Some menu item descriptions while the menu gets open.

On this screenshot, we can see that the "Tools" menu item lists "Share" in its description.

Once the menu is open, "Share" is no longer visible.

I think this bug was fixed by this task.

I was unable to reproduce this issue on Firefox Nightly 135 (2024-12-06)on Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (Android 14) and Oppo Find X3 Neo (Android 11). The Tools description is no longer updated while the menu is opening. Closing as WFM.
