This is only an issue if we go for the border-radius approach, not the SVG mask Markus proposed. Though the SVG mask doesn't work with the translucency of the native macOS theme / windows Mica.

Right now HDR promotion fails as soon as the rounded rect intersects the video.
Ideally we should make sure it doesn't break unless the rounded corner intersects the video (I think that'd be easy).
Ideally it wouldn't break at all, that'd need bug 1933527 comment 2 or the equivalent thing on macOS.
