The web page of the newspaper "L'unità" http://www.unita.it, when browsed with
IE shows a red pop up window that can not be seen using mozilla. This behaviour
appears, of course, when I explicitly ask mozilla not to stop pop ups from that
site. I can not tell whether this bug is down to mozilla or to the web page but
clearly there is some incompatibility here.  

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open http://www.unita.it with IE: you'll see a red pop up window.
2.Now try and open the same url with mozilla.
3.Ask mozilla to enable pop up windows from this site
4.Reload the page.
5. Nothing happens: no pop up window. 

Actual Results:  
Nothing

Expected Results:  
It should have displayed the same pop up window that IE shows.

So wait.. you want to tell mozilla to forbid pop-up windows, then allow this one
to pop up? I don't understand what you expect to happen..?

WFM: if you only reload the page, then there's no popup in Mozilla or IE.
But if I enable popups for this site and load it again then the popup appears.

I was able to reproduce this only once with a current trunk build, WinNT: I
suppressed popups, added www.unita.it as an exception, browsed there and got no
popup. Then I tried turning the suppressed-popup-sound back on, and when I
returned to the page, the popup appeared. After that, I tried removing
www.unita.it from my list of exceptions, browsed back to the page, got no popup,
added it to the list again, and got a popup (that is, it worked correctly).

What's happening here is that the URL www.unita.it spawns the pop-up, but the
immedeately redirects to another page, giving you only a fraction of a second to
click the "popup blocked" icon and add an exception for the site. If you
successfully do that, the popup will load every time you vist that site. This
would be fixed by bug 202226 or bug 221778, hence the duplicate. If you disagree
or I've missed something here, feel free to reopen.
