Steps to reproduce:

Open Firefox with existing tabs
Open amazon.com

I pulled a profile but it did not contain the QuotaManager process

Actual results:

Firefox says this page is page (amazon) is slowing down Firefox - unlikely, since it's the day before thanksgiving.

Restarting does not fix this issue, pages still do not load. Even when pages eventually load, cannot interact with Amazon search bar (page is scrollable, but not clickable).

Markus, what would the right method be for the reporter to get that thread into the profiler? If I just add QuoteManager to the thread list I don't see anything there.

Adding QuotaManager to the thread filter textbox on about:profiling should work. In your comment you wrote "QuoteManager" with an "e" instead of an "a" so maybe that was the issue.

The slow page loading was likely bug 1671932, i.e. a duplicate of one or more of the numerous bugs in that bug's "Blocks" list. I get the impression that that project is going to finish up soon.
