Details

There are two cases where I can generate a "redundant multiplexed document?"
assertion from fastload.

1) some combination of '-edit -browser -mail' on the command line, or the
   equivalent set in prefs
2) rapidly switching previously unserialized pref panels

Both are a little hit and miss.
###!!! ASSERTION: redundant multiplexed document?: 'docMapEntry->mString == nsnull', file c:/Debug/mozilla/xpcom/io/nsFastLoadFile.cpp, line 1404

with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9b3pre) Gecko/2008012416 Minefield/3.0b3pre

Steps to reproduce:
New Profile, install webmail notifier https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4490 and on restart you get this assertion

A clean Mac compiled trunk Thunderbird debug build version 3.0a1pre (2008040301) outputs the following on startup:

WARNING: redundant multiplexed document?: 'docMapEntry->mString == nsnull', file /Users/skywalker/Desktop/Mozilla/cvs/mozilla/xpcom/io/nsFastLoadFile.cpp, line 1404
