Steps to reproduce:
I have multiple email accounts/server receiving emails on my thunderbird. When new email arriving, the task bar icon does not show new emails number from other account than main folder. From other folders new emails are ignored.
Expected results:
Number of new messages should include all folders and subfolders

Arek, is this new behavior that used to work correctly? What version are you on? Help->About
I'm using version 134.0b3 and this bug appeared 2 versions ago.
Take a look at my screenshots.
- taskbar icon - as you can see there is 2 new messages shown
- folders tree - as you can see there are more than 2 new messages.
The number on taskbar icon is wrong. I suppose that it is related to mutli email accounts and rules, which makes new messages moved to subfolders in my local folders tree.
Most of my email accounts is pop3 configured - if it does matter.
Let me know if you will need more informations about this bug.
I looked one more time into my thunderbird tree and it seems that number "2" on my taskbar icon is pulled from the folder at the top of my folders tree. Take a look at my screenshot "list of folders full". I marked top folder with number "1", where I have 2 new messages, which is equal to value "2" shown on my taskbar icon.
I confirm. When I get new email for account related to the first folder presented on "list of folders full" screenshot, thunderbird show number of new messages properly. For other accounts and folder not.
