User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030130 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030130 http://www.anekdot.ru This popular russian site publishes a set of jokes every day. The jokes are submitted by site-visitors. The site-maintainer then chooses some of them and makes them accessible by placing a link for the todays' set. The link that causes a segfault is located at the left side of the upper part of this page, right under the current date (it's displayed in cyrillic, but quite easy to recognize anyway, e.g.: 16 февраля 2003). After clicking on this link in Mozilla-snapshot build(Version 0.0.20030130.21.trunk-1 from debian unstable), the browser just exists with no further messages. Galeon-snapshot however (which uses Mozilla-snapshot engine for rendering) displays a Gnome error dialog, saying that a segmentation fault occured. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Load http://www.anekdot.ru 2. Click on today's set of jokes (top of the left-most column ar the upper side of the page) Actual Results: Mozilla-snapshot (0.0.20030130.21.trunk-1) crashed with no messages. Galeon-snapshot crashed, but displayed a gnome error dialog after that. Expected Results: Show the requested page.

is this the link you click on? http://www.anekdot.ru/an/an0302/j030216.html I did not crash with linux trunk 20030215. there is a flash plugin on that page. do you have flash installed (what version)? can you attach a gdb stacktrace (assuming you didn't strip the libs). also the 'snapshot' you grabbed actually appears to be Debian's 1.2.1 (1.2.1 crashed when I exited after visiting the page). please try 1.3b
Reporter: Can you reproduce this bug with a recent build of Mozilla (for example, 1.4rc3)? If so, then please comment again with details. If not, then please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME. Thanks.
