128.5.1esr doesn't allow the sorting of email accounts in account settings

Steps to reproduce:
Tried to sort manually by dragging the accounts in account setting then restarted Thunderbird as prescribed. As well tried to install the Add-on Manually Sort to sort email accounts.
Actual results:
The new sorting of accounts doesn't hold.
The Add-on Manually Sort is not compatible with the new version of Thunderbird (128.5 1 esr)
Expected results:
The sorting of email accounts should have hold
The Add-on Manually Sort is not compatible with the new version of Thunderbird (128.5 1 esr)
The add-on is not needed any more.

Works for me. Try Help | Troubleshoot mode
I have tried in Troubleshoot mode but to no avail. What version of Thunderbird do you have?

You don't have any add-ons installed?
No errors listed in error console? (ctrl+shift+J)

Yes there are some errors but they don't seem to be related to my issue.
They have been fixed since then. Version 128.esr doesn't seem to support reordering of email accounts as mentioned by other user.
Disabling any add-ons don't seem to resolve the issue.
