* TITLE/SUMMARY [PP] Mac - Installer defaults to installing into installer folder itself (this must be a known issue, but I don't see any bugs in the "Install Wizard" component, so...) * STEPS TO REPRODUCE 0) Launch Mozilla installer on Mac OS 1) Page through the installer until you reach the "Typical Install"/"Custom Install" pop-up menu. * RESULT - What happened The default install location is the MacInstaller-M12 folder on the Mac OS disk. Needless to say, a user will not easily discover this location after the install. - What was expected Communicator 4.7 defaults to installing on the root directory of your boot volume. * REGRESSION - Occurs On Mac OS Mozilla Installer (1999111908-M12 optimized build) - Doesn't Occur On Mac OS Communicator 4.7 Installer (VISE-based) * CONFIGURATIONS TESTED - [Mac] Beige Power Mac G3 (266 MHz PowerPC 750), 96 MB RAM (VM on; 1 MB of VM used), 1024x768 (Thousands of Colors), Mac OS 8.6 - [Win32] Vectra VL (233 MHz P2), 96 MB RAM, 800x600 (True Color), NT 4.0 SP5. - [Linux] Vectra VL (266 MHz P2), 96 MB RAM. Red Hat Linux 6.0 (GNOME).

I am not seeing any change in behavior in installations. Installer is still installing into installer folder (NSMacInstaller/Netscape Folder) as noted in original bug report

The UI reflects the correct location (the default volume) but the actual installation still occurs in the installer folder. Sigh, this is not fixed.
