Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 After entering some text in the URL bar, a button pops up underneath saying Search XXX for YYY. I think there's a row or two of pixels between that pop-up bar and the URL bar that, if clicked on, result in the contents of the URL bar being processed as if the Enter key was pressed. (if multiple words, goes to Internet Keywords, etc.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. type "hello world" in the URL bar 2. drop mouse cursor to popup Search button 3. slowly move mouse up until Search button is no longer highlighted, but cursor has not changed to an I-bar text cursor. 4. click mouse Actual Results: get Netscape Search results for "hello world". (via Internet Keywords support, I think.) Expected Results: Good question. Probably nothing. If the search bar isn't highlighted, I don't think the search should have taken place. Thanks!
Confirmed with Moz 1.3b on WinXP. This looks suspiciously similar to bug 192925. Setting dependency as such.

I thought this might be separate, but I can't reproduce this bug with the first patch from bug 244900 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 244900 ***
