unable to move thunderbird message

Steps to reproduce:

moved message to wrong subfolder

Actual results:

when I tried to move to intended folder, the message won't move

Expected results:

the message should move to the intended folder

cannot delete the message either. it is part of a string of 4 messages. trying to move them all.

OS: Unspecified → Windows 10
Hardware: Unspecified → Desktop

Please tell us more about this folders?
Does the same thing happen with Thunderbird started in Help > Troubleshoot Mode?

well, I can't find the messages now... I was unable to mark the files back then, & no longer remember which they were.

however, I started up in Troubleshooting mode & was able to move a few mis-filed items, so I THINK it worked.

thanks for the idea... I will try to remember the next time...
