On a recent Debian with a dual screen, i am getting some weird flicking issues + some drawing of the background Firefox window on the foreground Firefox. I will try to make a screenrecording next time it happens.

In the terminal, I can see some error like:

[GFX1-]: Failed to make render context current, can't draw.
[GFX1]: Error in eglSetDamageRegion: 0x3009

I have a recent nvidia driver:
535.216.03-1

Note that my hardware is a bit old, so, i might have hardware issue but opening in case others have this

Bob, dup of bug 1924578 ?

Flags: needinfo?(bhood)

This seems like an unrelated species of bug, different from bug 192458. Maybe Martin has an idea of what might be going on here?

Severity: -- → S3

No idea, it can be anything with NVIDIA.

Sylvestre, not sure about it being a dupe. My issue was limited to GDocs. I guess you could try the workaround listed in 1924578, but I doubt it would solve your issue.

Out of curiosity, are your monitors running at differing refresh rates?

Same
$ xrandr|grep ""
3840x2160 59.98
+
3840x2160 59.98*+

They are the same models

I'm having the same issue: dual monitor setup, nvidia 2070 super, driver version 565.77. KDE plasma 6.2.5.

Both displays have the same refresh rates. At random times, the output freezes completely and even resizing the window keeps the same content, unresized.

Sometimes, it resizing the window helps making it unstuck. Thunderbird is affected, too.
