Looks like yahoo have a new type of unblockable image (advt). Found on Linux and
WinXP.

On linux, I have no plugins installed.

Right click on the image does not bring up a menu. I will be uploading the
snapshot of mozilla, and the source code of the page.

Thanks,

Ajay Gautam

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
source code unusable. Is the advertisment an inline frame? Please
select the ad block and some content before and after it, bring up
the context menu, and select View Selection Source. Paste the source
here.
The adv did not seem like an inline frame.

Next time I come across it, I will select the image and some text around it and
get source. I dod not know that this functionality (partial source selection) is
available in mozilla, otherwise I would have done that.

Mozilla never stops amazing me ;)

Thanks
This contains the code of the mentioned picture only. Today I was lucky enuff
to get the pic - and did what you suggested.

Enjoy, and have fun :)

Ajay
Not sure about this one... the image is embedded inside of an object tag
and inside of an anchor (I seem to recall and anchor issue too, whereas
the anchor is grabbing the click...)

A solution is just to load http://bnr.americangiveaways.com/default_728x90_fc.gif
right click on that, block it, then it won't load.

The funny thing is that I can't get IE even to load the 3/10 17:44 attachment.
I've come across this as well...

One workaround is to view page info, select the image, copy the URL of the
image, view the image - then block!

Obvious improvements to me:
* Make some non-capturable click (shift-RightClick also bring up the menu)
* add a "Block this image" to the page info image display
