User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:134.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/134.0
Steps to reproduce:
Play videos on Youtube.
Example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a5AETzHhefs
Using Windows 11 with Intel Arc graphics and having latest drivers and Windows updates installed.
Actual results:
Some videos are not correctly decoded: see upper screenshot in the attached image. Firefox is very slowly responding in this condition, and CPU usage increases. Sound is there most of the time, but is sometimes interrupted.
When the video is paused, the still image continues changing while the mouse is moving across it.
However, when reloading the video (press F5) it sometimes runs correctly for a while, or shows a milder form of artifacts (just some colored spots - see lower screenshot in the attached image).
Expected results:
Correctly playing all videos, just as Chrome and Edge do.

A few versions ago (about Firefox 132) I saw very similar green artifacts in Google Maps, but this seems to be fixed now. Maybe both issues have similar causes.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Audio/Video: Playback' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Now I turned off hardware acceleration in the settings. Artifacts are gone now, but CPU load is 10 to 20%, and videos are not running so smoothly - looks like half the normal frame rate.

This sounds like bug 1933755, If you could help me verify this by using the latest Nightly, I will be appreciated!

It works perfectly with the Nightly :-)
Thank you very much!
