User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212 Starting Mozilla 1.3b & mail, it attempts to connect to my IMAP mailbox, but never completes - the "throbber" keeps throbbing, but no new info comes from the IMAP server. This appears to be a problem specific to 1.3b, as downgrading to 1.3a resolved the problem, but explicitly terminating the mozilla process & restarting, or rebooting & restarting Mozilla did not help. Simultaneous access from another machine running 1.3a succeeds. Nothing informative in the IMAP server logs. This is over a fast (unloaded 10 mbps LAN) connection, and behavior is the same with either SSL or non-SSL connections. IMAP server is UW IMAP on Debian. The broken Mozilla 1.3b could simultaneously access another IMAP account running on iPlanet messaging server. This may be related to 190106, but behavior was sufficiently different (stop & restart didn't help, no time delay needed), that I filed a separate issue.
