Hi, 
 
for some reason (problems with KDE apps) I had to remove  
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi (and 100dpi) from my X11 font path, 
thus leaving scalable fonts only, no Bitmap fonts. 
 
When I called mozilla then, the Fonts at the top menu lines 
("File Edit View Go...) where extremely huge occupying most of the screen. 
The contents of the HTML window were scaled normally. So there is 
some problem with the font selection of the menu fonts.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. xset fp= /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1 
2. xset fp rehash 
3. mozilla 
Actual Results:  
Mozilla came up working "normally", but with a menu font size making the 
menu unusable large. 

Expected Results:  
Do as usual.

um, there's no way your 1.2.1 build is Qt based.

The build you use is old. Please try a new build.
If you are running xfstt: Possibly dup of bug 92590.
Also possibly dup of bug 104345, fix checked in Nov. 6th.

Are you running two fontservers at the same time?
(Like Xfree86 modular one in addition to xfs?)
If yes, perhaps this cures if you comment out the FontDir entry in XF86Config

Unable to reproduce with the latest linux seamonkey build.
