Since I upgraded Mozilla to 1.3b (from 1.3a), I get the dialog "You have chosen
to open a file of type.." a lot, and other quirks, like when I try opening a
link in a new tab, it shows me an image from the original page in the tab, or
shows me the above dialog - instead of opening the link correctly. I wonder if
it's only my problem
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
Can't reproduce it since it's random. Usually hitting "reload" opens the correct
page, after one try or two (sometimes it shows me other images first, and only
after several attempts it shows me the desired page).
I upgraded Mozilla from 1.3a to 1.3b by uninstalling, erasing the application
folder (besides of the plugins folder) and then installing again.

Does clearing the cache help? Sounds like cache corruption to me....

Same platform (Win2K), I always get the dialog box asking me how I want to
handle the file (typically a .m3u playlist) even though the "Default
Application" option is checked and the checkbox is set. Though I tell it each
time to remember to use the default app, it asks me every time on both Moz 1.3
and 1.4

Yaron: Do you have pipelining enabled?
yerfatma@localnine.com: that is probably a separate bug. does it happen on all
urls, if no can you give an example?
Christian, since I erased everything and upgraded to 1.4, I don't get this bug
anymore. Should this bug be cleared?
