Don't know if it applies for all image maps, but the first thing I did with MS11 is to try to read my yahoo mail. Yahoo has a little image on the top right that has a picture of the yahoo mail logo, and contains links to MailHome, MyYahoo and Yahoo. The entire image map has a blue border around it, which is not normal, and the MyYahoo and Yahoo links do not work, even though I can see that the target URL changes in the box at the bottom of the GUI. Regards, Alfonso.
When I go to the URL listed above I don't see the image map you describe. What I see is a "Welcome to Yahoo!Mail" page that allows you to login. Do you need a Yahoo mail account to see the page you describe? If so, can you save the HTML for the page and add it as an attachment? Otherwise, I have no way to reproduce this bug

Using the temp account you provided me it looks okay with the latest build, and I can click on the "Mail Home", "My Yahoo!", and "Yahoo!" links and the links do work I know there have been some recent changes to the event handling code, and I suspect that these may have fixed the problem so I'm marking this FIXED

I'm not seeing this problem in the Dec 01 build either. Marking verified fixed.
