Search engine not working following update

Steps to reproduce:
After yesterdays update when I open Firefox it displays the Bing search page as usual, however, when I type in any text in the search field the text simply disappears when I hit enter.
Actual results:
No search is undertaken. If I search in the URL bar it does work as normal, however, searching that way is not natural for me. I tried clearing cache and restarting my PC but same result. The Bing search still works as usual in Edge.
I tried searching in the address bar for Google and found the Google haome page. Same result as Bing - searching in the address bar works but searching from Google home page results in the text simply disappearing when I hit enter.
Expected results:
A search should have been undertaken!
I am currently forced to use a different browser. Will check Firefox in a week or two to see if the issue is fixed but for now I've moved on.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Address Bar' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
