The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Audio/Video: Playback' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Hello! Thank you for submitting this issue I have tried to reproduce the issue on my end but unfortunately I wasn't able to with firefox 137.0a1(2025-02-10) on Ubuntu 22.04 and Windows 10
Could you please answer the following questions in order to further investigate this issue?
- Does this issue happen with a new profile? Here is a link on how to create one: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles
- Does this issue happen in the latest nightly? Here is a link from where you can download it: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/
- Do you have any addons installed? If yes could you please list them?
- Could you please provide an example with the audio where you encountered this issue?

I had a look at the profile thanks, but didn't see anything irregular.
If this happens again, then capturing a profile from about:logging with the Media preset would contain more information, which might be helpful. One or two seconds of playback would be sufficient.
Was the audio playing as expected immediately before the problem started?
When the issue starts to occur, does it continue to occur after page reload?
If so, does restarting Firefox resolve the issue?

Audio was playing as expected before the problem, yes.
When I reload the page, it does not fix the issue. The only way to "fix" it from what I can do right now is to repeatedly skip back or forwards in the video or audio until it fixes itself, which is not a sustainable fix.
Restarting Firefox does not resolve this.

From my testing, it does not happen on a new profile. As well, it does not occur on the most recent Nightly.
My current installed addons include:
- BTRoblox - Making Roblox Better
- Shinigami Eyes
- uBlock Origin
I also have Privacy Badger installed but disabled.
