Steps to reproduce:

hello I would like to report that some payload of random data blocks and freezes Firefox 115.20.0 Firefox ESR . And in the example of twitter website it throws the code of the page.

Actual results:

blocks and freezes browser .On somy diffrend wesbite is much worse.

Expected results:

Firefox should cut and do not allow too much payload distroy browser and freezes.

The question is why that eazy firefox freezes.

I don't see any problem opening the link you provided. Are there additional steps to reproduce?

Does it work if you start Firefox in Troubleshoot mode?

NO this links .IN this links i payload waht I upload for Mozilla . I said this paylad when you put for ezamle in some website made firefox freezes. I show screshot where Twitter spat out the html code page. And the browser freezes.

In this links is just payload like this . If I caopy and past here firefox will frezz .

I can't reproduce, e.g. copying and pasting the content in Bugzilla or X.

The question about Troubleshoot mode is still open.

Go to https://github.com/resources/articles/devops put this payload to Search syntax tips .Browser Freeze .Any website search window. Browser stack ,stop working .In Twiiter website not load look screenshot or put some website code html .

Can you try recording a profile? I tried also with your last example, and I can't reproduce it.

1. Go to http://profiler.firefox.com/
2. Start recording and repeat the action
3. Upload the profile and share the link here

If the browser doesn't respond and you can't record a profile, I'm not sure there is much more we can do to debug.

No my CPU do not increases.. Only what is happening is a problem with this payload. The browser freezes and does not work. And most sites stop working with this browser. I do not care. I just wanted to show the Mozilla Team that such a payload destroys the browser. Only that.

Hello! Thank you for submitting this issue I have tried to reproduce the issue on my end but unfortunately I wasn't able to with firefox 115.20.0ESR on Ubuntu 22.04 and Windows 10
Could you please answer the following questions in order to further investigate this issue?

1. Does this issue happen with a new profile? Here is a link on how to create one: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles
2. Does this issue happen in the latest nightly? Here is a link from where you can download it: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/
3. Do you have any addons installed? If yes could you please list them?

1. Yes this is actually my Firefox new profile .
2. I'm not able check this I use Windows 8 ---- Firefox Beta is no longer supported on Windows 8.1 and below.Please download Firefox ESR .
3. Yes uBlock and I don't care about cookie .But this not influence .I can turn off and the freeze will happen.

I check this in Ubuntu Firefox 131.0.2 (64-bit) most website works good .Only github a little freeze .
