Browser always crashes or hangs for far too long (after a few minutes I just pull the plug). I have a Power Mac 1400c/166 and am running M11. It does the same thing on Slashdot.org when trying to read the reader comments. It at first goes extremely slowly and maps clicks to the wrong area of the screen (a click on the scroll bar is placed on an element in the sidebar instead) and then it gets slower and slower until it doesn't respond at all. Even switching to the finder doesn't stop the hang and the machine locks up.

I think this is a known problem...paulmac?

Doesn't seem network related. Reassigning to rickg for layout triage.

On my build, CNN come up in under 10 seconds. The throbber keeps going, but that seems to be a different problem.

With Dec 01 Mac build, I'm not seeing this crash but the throbber will continue to animate and not stop.
