Okay, I have a number of problems here. Firstly, I don;t like that Mozilla only
recognizes WAV files. This is not a Windows version. I'm kind of used to the way
Netscape 4.7 let me choose from my System sounds.

Next, what's the point of a notification AFTER I open the mail window? It seems
to make more sense that Mozilla uses this sound to let me know that I need to
open my mail window and get mail (again, as done in Netscape 4.7).

Lastly, "You've got mail" really sucks. It's not even grammatically correct. The
correct phrase would be "You have mail", or, if you like contractions so much,
"You've mail". I know an AOLer won't be smart enough to know the difference but ...

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click on mail button.
2.Listen to the bad english.
3.

Actual Results:  
I hear a notification that is redundant.

Expected Results:  
It should use the notification to let me know I have mail before I open the mail
window. This could be a preference thing if there's a reason for the current way
it works that I don;t understand...

For one thing, I don't see what's wrong with "You've got mail"(R):

  You (subject)
  have got (present perfect of 'to get')
  mail (direct object)

For another, Mozilla 1.2 is the last version to support Mac OS 9.x.
Does the problem occur on Mac OS X 10.2.x (Jaguar) as well?
