Steps to reproduce:

Enter an email in the Search bar, at the top of the window, and search

Actual results:

T'bird found no results

Expected results:

There are at least 4 emails from the sender, I would have expected all the emails with the search email.

The email account is particularly large and users are not used to compacting folders, which is what I have been told is causing this. Using one client we ensure auto compact was turned on, the threshold MB set down to 10, and the nag user box was deselected. T'bird was then shut down and restarted and a compact started. When this had finished 1 search result was returned.

I'm going in on Tuesday, what debug information should I look at? And how would I set things up to debug this?
