The icon used is (apparantly) the same gif used in the toolbar, but the way Mozilla disaplys it there is less color depth. Image showing the two side-by-side to come. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
Created attachment 115473 [details] Screen capture showing icons side-by-side The icon on the left is from the toolbar, the icon on the right is from the message header area. The image on the right clearly has less color depth that its toolbar counterpart.
The checkin from Seth of a new image from Gail to: http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla/source/themes/modern/messenger/icons/junkBar.gif Does not fix the squished color depth of the gif. Compare it to: http://lxr.mozilla.org/mozilla/source/themes/modern/messenger/icons/junk.gif In particular, look at the shading from light to dark accross the trash can.
Yeah, I also just checked the new icon. I guess it could be made as smooth as the one in the toolbar. -> NEW so sspitzer can have a look.

Comparing the two images (linked above) now gives satisfactory results. Weird.
Ok, Joe, so we both probably had the old version in the cache... Resolving this bug as fixed by sspitzer's checkin (with no bug #) at 03/05/2003 13:23. Joe, if you see the problem again in future builds (say: after today's), please reopen this bug. Thanks.

I've just installed the most recent nightly (2003030608). Verified that the correct cleaner icon is now used in the header of mail marked as Junk. VERIFIED.
