Details

DESCRIPTION: Text files don't get scrollbars if they are shown after (need not
be immediately after) a directory listing.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
 * load a local directory listing (e.g., file:///home/david/webtest/ )
 * load a test file (e.g.,
   http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/showattachment.cgi?attach_id=2986 )

ACTUAL RESULTS:
 * the text file doesn't have scrollbars

EXPECTED RESULTS:
 * the text file should have scrollbars

DOES NOT WORK CORRECTLY ON:
 * Linux, mozilla, 1999-11-20-08-M12

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
See possibly related (but now fixed) bug 13245.
Assignee: trudelle → evaughan
Is this with GFX scrollbars enabled? reassigning to evaughan.
The scrollbars I see in the file directory listing are GFX scrollbars.
Confirmed exactly as reported for Windows NT (probably All/All), with GFX
scrollbars on *or off* (Edit>Preferences>Debug, restart).

Does not occur if same file is accessed through http: instead of file:
Does not occur if same file is renamed with a ".html" extension.
Does not occur if same file is renamed with *no* extension
(seems to be treated as text/html or possibly page source rather than
text/plain in that case - thought that one was fixed)

Tested with: 1999-11-25-09-M12 nightly binary on Windows NT 4.0sp3
