Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:137.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/137.0

Steps to reproduce:

I run netflix in fullscreen, with the power adaptor connected.

After 5 min , the screen is locking with the wallpaper.

Isn't it supposed to be managed by firefox to inform Windows11 to not lock during video full screen ?

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Audio/Video: Playback' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Component: Untriaged → Audio/Video: Playback
Product: Firefox → Core

I found the scenario, open netflix, do a PIP , do the PIP in fullscreen , wait, and there is the lock screen

The severity field is not set for this bug.
:jimm, could you have a look please?

Hi Thanks for the report. However, I cannot reproduce this issue on either Netflix or YouTube. Is this reproducible in troubleshooting mode with fresh profile? Is the media audible?
If so, could you do the following things that would greatly help us to identify the issue?

  1. Upload the information in your about:support page
  2. Since this issue cannot be reproduced on my end, can you help me to narrow down the possible culprits with mozregression?
