Site is very slow-loading (over modem); pages stall and stop. During this
process, when you open then close the Java Console, Mozilla crashes and exits.

Java and JavaScript are not the same thing (and are in fact completely
unrelated, except by name).

whose java and what version?
if mozilla really crashes do you get a talkback window (always use talkback
builds)? do you get a dr watson window or a crash reporter window?

Sounds more like a java problem possibly? although should the JVM be able to
take down mozilla?
Much more strangly I do not seem to be able to view page source for this page
(option is grayed out). Is this another bug? should this be possible?
Note that this page also uses flash, and has some really bad HTML...

I am using the TBV, but there were no windows or messages.
