only one character sequences are found by "Find as you type".


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open url http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.1/docs/api/index.html.
2. Type "deprecated" (the link is in the top of the right frame).
3. Type ahead (with or without pressing esc first) and notice that only one
character sequences are found.

Actual Results:  
Only one character sequences are found by "Find as you type".

Expected Results:  
Act as usually with "Find as you type": only one character sequences are
supposed to be found only after repeating a character several times.

I don't understand fully your problem. The page you refer to does not appear to
contain the text "ahead" anywhere. What would you like to happen?

I apologise for misunderstanding your bug. I understand now!

Doing something similar to what you say makes the bug sometimes appear on 
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210
However, it always appears if I open the page you list and then I click in the
top-left frame. Then as you say look-ahead seems to keep interpreting what I
type as one-character strings.
