New about:config setting to list tab groups in alphabetical order

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable tab groups browser.tabs.groups.enabled
  2. Create 30 tab groups with different names
  3. Add tab to a group

Actual results:

You're seeing the tab groups in the order they are shown in the URL bar.

Expected results:

This is not ideal if you have a lot of tab groups and quickly want to locate a tab group by its name.

Therefore, I would like to suggest a setting in about:config to change that sorting to alphabetical order.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Tabbed Browser' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
