Steps to reproduce:
By the way, using 134 since 135 breaks bluetooth audio playback.
Okay, go to youtube with data saving mode (144p default). Use the background playback fix addon, disable ALL optimisations for energy saving on android 13 xiaomi redmi note 11s.
Now start the video playback and after 1s tab out of firefox.
Actual results:
50% of the time the playback stops after the end of the buffer is reached
(I have to retry over 5 times sometimes, to get it to play nicely until the video ends)
20% of the time the playback stops right in the view, where the other open programs are listed
99% of the time pausing with the bluetooth controls stops the video, it never resumes. Going back to the firefox, the page has to reload completely.
Expected results:
Current page stays open ALL the time. Buffering never stops, unless the javascript of the page says stop (like for youtube where it does). Resuming playback should work without any issues.
I do not mind, if this kills the data cap. That is my bad, if I actively decide to keep pages loaded in background. That is an active decision.
