Details
Firefox for Android
Steps to reproduce:
I clicked on a link using Firefox on an iPad Pro M4. And it turned out to be a link which immediately opened up my Amazon app.
Actual results:
I have the feature “Block opening external apps” turned on for my browser. And yet, this link I clicked was able to bypass your feature and launch my Amazon app where it could’ve attempted to do who knows what with my Amazon account, if I hadn’t acted quickly.
Expected results:
Instead, it should’ve been impossible for that link to launch my Amazon app, because your setting feature claims that this functionally has been disabled. But it appears your feature may be glitchy. I’ll stop using your browser until I have received word that the problem is fixed. In my opinion it’s a dangerous security issue.
