Steps used to reproduce.
All my messages are in plain text, I have this set from the preferences menu.
This is when opening a previosly sent message, or a received message, if you
open the message, and try to edit anything, and you hit delete after
highlighting a word, the message is delete.
There was no prompt for do you want to save this message, do you want to
discard this changes made, or do you want to delete, as any confirmation.
I wanted to edit the message so I can print it without including the whole
conversation. Currently, I have to hit reply, or forward, before I can edit the
message for printing.

Seth Master: I don't see why you think this is a bug. One of the ideas of any
mail client is to maintain the integrity of the message as sent; it's not
supposed to allow changing a received message, only for outgoing mail. You can
save the message to a file and edit that, or copy the text to an editor/word
processor.
It may be a bit unnerving to not display a confirmation when you weren't
expecting the message to be deleted, but when the deletion *is* expected a
confirmation dialog would really get in the way. There is an Undo Delete
function, so you haven't lost any data.
I recommend marking this bug Resolved|Invalid.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".
This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
