Steps to reproduce:
Open a site which supports entering fullscreen mode, such as playing a Youtube video or a game
Enter fullscreen
Switch to another app
Switch back to Firefox a few seconds later
Actual results:
Firefox exits fullscreen for this site
Expected results:
Site remains in fullscreen until the user exits it, or until the browser restarts
This is the behaviour for most native apps such as the Youtube one, and so leads to worse experience when using the web versions instead. It also applies to Firefox PWAs, which exit fullscreen when switching apps, likewise leading to a worse experience than native app versions.
