Preconditions
- Have the pref ‘browser.contextual-password-manager.enabled’ set to true
- Have the Passwords sidebar opened
- Have some saved logins
Tested platforms
- Affected platforms: macOS 14, Windows 11, Ubuntu 22.04
- Unaffected platforms: none
Steps to reproduce
- Open a new window (Ctrl+N/Cmd+N)
- Arrange both windows so they are visible on the screen
- In the first window, click the "Show password" button from any saved login
- Observe the behavior in the second window
Expected result
- The password should not be revealed in the second window
Actual result
- The password is revealed in the second window as well
Regression range
- Not a regression, as this is a new feature
